May  2021 - We are super excited to see our first group of 4th and 5th graders complete our Blueprint for Success Entrepreneurship program at John Neely Bryan Elementary School. Our celebration will be on Thursday, May 20th. Can we count on your support to help celebrate these awesome students? We are in need of individual donors and corporate sponsors to provide: Food, snacks, and drinks for 25 students and volunteers (pizza, cookies, cupcakes, etc., ) Supplies for the students' final presentations (Glue, magazines, poster boards, art supplies etc.)

April  2021 - Grand Prairie Big Event-We were small in number but made a big impact cleaning and restoring the community garden at #crosspointchurch. Great work as we continue to celebrate #earthdayeveryday ! #empower #equip #mobilize #SUGO2021

 

January 2021 - Feeding the community - We absolutely love serving the community. SUGO volunteered with @ymcagptx unloading more than 82,000 chips of all sorts. A huge thank you to @fritolay Dallas for donating snacks to the residents of Irving and organizations serving communities throughout Dallas.

September 2020 - North Texas Giving Day - WE NEED YOU! We are in need of volunteers to help make our biggest fundraiser of the year a huge success. Due to COVID-19 we've had to cancel most of our fundraisers and with your support we can make this online event a huge success. September 2020 - Blueprint For Success Cultural Entrepreneurship workshop focuses on African American history  and will provide a solid understanding of what entrepreneurship is, how to become an entrepreneur, and most importantly how our ancestors played a significant role in African Americans becoming business owners. 

Our primary focus is on students ages 10-18 who have an interest in learning about entrepreneurship and the steps to starting their own businesses. In addition to learning about our history and the steps to becoming an entrepreneur, students will also learn financial literacy skills, sharpen their public speaking skills, team building, strategic thinking, and time management.

July 2020 -  Blueprint for Success Leadership Camp- For youth age 12-18. The Blueprint for Success Teen Leadership Camp is a fun, free and educational program designed to help kids build confidence, self-esteem and self-awareness. Students will receive all materials to be used for class electronically.  The first 10 registrations will receive a special gift at the conclusion of class.

June 2020 - Volunteered with Pan African Connection to distribute fresh fruits and vegetables to families in need in the community.

June 2020 - Volunteered with Bible Faith Ministries to donate more than 200 boxes of poultry to families in need in the community.
 

May 2020 - Partnered with the Grand Prairie and Moorland Family YMCA's during the month of May to provide meals to the community during COVID-19.   SUGO sends a special thank you to Brighter Bites and Full Filled Project for donating meals.  

 

January-May 2020 - The Blueprint for Success Entrepreneurship Program (BFSEP) overall mission is to prepare students not to only become job seekers, but rather job creators that will make an impact on the economic success of this country in the 21st century. The BFSEP will provide students the foundational tools to start and grow a small business. Since starting our program in 2017, 25% of our graduates have successfully started a small business and with your help we can increase the success rate.

 

​November 2019- Open House- Stars United Global Outreach has partnered with the Urban SERCH Institute and University of North Texas at Dallas to host our Blueprint for Success Program. We are hosting our second and final open house for 2019 on Saturday, November 9th to provide additional information about the four pillars of our program: Leadership, Life Skills, Entrepreneurship, and Smart Investments.

 

​​​​October 2019- Smart Investments is a four-week introductory workshop for teens that teaches financial literacy from basic money principles such as checking and savings accounts to understanding stocks, bonds, and IRA’s, learning how to invest in the market, and planning for their future after high school. This course will help teens learn how to develop a plan for building personal wealth while understanding basic investment principles.​

January - March 2019 - Stars United Global Outreach (SUGO) is excited about our annual Blueprint for Success Workshop. The workshop will start on January 22, 2018 at the Meadows Conference Center in Dallas, TX. We are providing opportunities that will grant 25 children the opportunity to gain knowledge in areas focused on youth entrepreneurship. The Blueprint for Success Entrepreneurship Workshop’s overall mission is to develop, educate, and mentor at risk and underprivileged children for the 21st Century. The SUGO team is passionate about the impact mentoring has on the lives of children, their communities, and the organizations they transform. Our 501(c)(3) organization has served more than five hundred children seeking strong mentors and leaders dedicated to transforming their future.

 

January 2019 - Stars United Global Outreach will hold a shoe drive to raise funds for our entrepreneurship program dedicated to at risk youth. Stars United Global Outreach will earn funds based on the total weight of the pairs of gently worn, used and new shoes collected, as Funds2Orgs will issue a check for the collected shoes. Those dollars will benefit empowering, educating, and mobilizing at risk youth to create social change and break barriers.
